It is thus in 1999 that Miquel Barcelo begins the series of engravings Lanzarote, series which he will finish in 2001 and who comprises 62 prints (etchings and aquatints), all the prints were printed at 41 copies. All the famous topics of Barcelo are represented in this series of engravings : still lives, landscapes of Africa, waves and bullfightings. Barcelo only produced since 1981 approximately 140 prints.
